Sir Andy Murray Pulls Out Of Wimbledon 2018 • Announces His Hip Hurts
- Updated: July 1, 2018
By Francisco Resendiz
The Bad and Sad News just broke. Andrew Jarrett the Champions Referee made the official announcement today:
Andy Murray has had to pull out of the tournament and “Lucky Loser” Jason Jung of Taipei will take his place in the draw.
But – No one can take his place in the tourney. We hope he comes by and sits in the Royal Box and does some TV color or something. Maybe he will come to SW19 to cheer on older Brother Jamie.
Poor Andy. We watched him limp thru all of last years grass. Literally limping every move the man made. He is one tough guy. But with aching hips grass is so hard.
Heal well Andy. Recoveries take time. You gave your best at The Queen’s Club and At Eastbourne. We applaud your courage and intensity.
