Olympic Gold-Medal Champions Headline Billie Jean King Cup
- Updated: October 4, 2021
The Billie Jean King Cup Finals will shine with a golden glow next month.
All four women who won Olympic gold medals in Tokyo—Belinda Bencic, Barbora Krejcikova, Katerina Siniakova and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova—will headline the Billie Jean King Cup finals in Prague, the International Tennis Federation announced today.
The inaugural Billie Jean King Cup finals are set for November 1-6th at the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic.
The 12-nation, 57-player field features three Top 10 players, three former world No. 1 players and five Grand Slam champions.
Three members from reigning champion France’s 2019 squad that beat host Australia in Perth to capture the Cup—Caroline Garcia, Alize Cornet and Fiona Fero— will return to action next month though 2019 hero Kristina Mladenovic is out after closing the curtain on her 2020 season.
