The United States Billie Jean King Cup Team plays its 2025 Qualifying matches on Saturday and Sunday in Slovakia, with an upstart roster charged with winning the three-nation Group C to qualify for the 2025 Billie Jean King Cup Finals held September 16-21 in Shenzhen, China.

Alycia Parks, Bernarda Pera and Hailey Baptiste are making their Billie Jean King Cup debuts this weekend, joining veterans Asia Muhammad and Desirae Krawczyk on the U.S. team that will take on Denmark and hosts Slovakia on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Hall of Famer Lindsay Davenport is Team USA captain.

Each tie is a best-of-three matchup with two singles and one doubles match, played on an indoor hard court inside Peugeot Arena at Slovakia’s National Tennis Center in Bratislava. Each tie begins at 3 p.m. local time (9 a.m. ET), with the singles and doubles lineups set one hour prior to the start of play.

This weekend’s Qualifiers feature 18 nations competing in six round-robin groups around the world, with the winner of each group joining hosts China and defending champions Italy in the eight-nation Finals to compete for the championship.

The second- and third-place finishers from each Qualifying group then compete in the Playoff round the week of November 10 (also round-robin format, with seven groups of three nations) in order to return to the Qualifying pool for 2026.

The full qualifying field and schedule can be found via the Billie Jean King Cup website.

The United States leads all nations in Billie Jean King Cup titles, with 18. The USA is 2-0 all-time vs. Denmark (1990 and 1992 second rounds) and 0-2 vs. Slovakia (2021 Finals group stage; 2024 Finals first round).
